Tyendinaga, Ontario

FNTI was one of 3 Native schools
in Canada to receive IBM Pentium 233's that will greatly assist both their
classrooms and local students with home systems.
Imperial's Manager of
Community Relations, Paul Forgues stated "we are headed for a serious shortage
of skilled workers in all sectors of the economy and businesses will be
looking to the Aboriginal native population to fill the gap". He also added,
"it's therefore crucial that they have the right tools to take full advantage
of those opportunities".
FNTI was looking to purchase an additional 50 computers when the generous
donation of 173 computers was offered and graciously accepted. |
